| Rosie Aust – Development Officer Westminster School, Adelaide I have been involved with Westminster School in Adelaide for 15 years. My two children both attended the School and I was (an still am) strongly committed to the community. I was President of P&F for 5 years, on School Council for 10 years and I am a member of the Foundation Board. In 2006 the School decided that John Kramer could do with a little help in the Fundraising Office and I was lucky enough to win the job. I have a passion for people, for philanthropy and I love special events – this job is a perfect fit!! I believe that education will secure our future and I believe in a variety of educational options. I am enjoying the Conference committee because I have the opportunity to learn so much. I am particularly passionate about the Discover Development program because I attended the 06 conference in NZ and the whole experience was incredibly valuable. That group of "newbies" who met in NZ has maintained contact over the years and has been a great resource for information and advice. Winston Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give". |
| Julie Brown: Development Officer St. Mark’s College, Adelaide Administrator/Conference Manager: My position is interesting, challenging and satisfying. I enjoy being part of a team working with outstanding students and seeing them develop their full potential in a collegiate, supportive, academic environment, based on intellectual rigour and enquiry, and fun. I hope my involvement will help to support the committee in ensuring the conference is relevant and practical for all members of the organisation from secondary to tertiary, as well as forward thinking presentations which will challenge the norms. |
