ADAPE Australasia Endowment Fund

The ADAPE Australasia Endowment Fund was launched at the 2008 International Conference Dinner by the Australasian President, Dr Alan Watkinson, following discussion during the previous 12 months by the Australasian Council.

This fund has been established to provide financial assistance to ADAPE Members who wish to further their career in the advancement of education profession through formal study and award of formal qualifications.

For example, a member may wish to study for and sit the CFRE exam to gain CFRE credentials or to study at QUT for the Certificate of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies or a similar formal course of study related to their specialisation. An application can be made for financial assistance from the Endowment Fund for support in this study.

Following the lead given by each Australasian Council Member; Endowment fund sponsors – O’Keefe and Partners;  one of the ADAPE Chapters, and delegates at the Dinner, well over $12,000 was contributed that night to the fund. Total funds pledged by the end of the Conference amounted to over $25,000.  Our goal is to achieve $50,000 to get the fund up and running and disbursing in a few short years.

Thank you to the contributors to the ADAPE Endowment Fund in 2008:
