Welcome ADAPE (Association of Development and Alumni Professionals in Education) Australasia is the peak organisation representing and specifically catering for advancement professionals in the education sector. Advancement professionals work closely to secure scholarships for disadvantaged and indigenous students, funding for state of the art facilities and programs to educate young men and women, and are active in enrolments, marketing and promotional activities that engage their communities both current and from the past and assist with sourcing funding for ongoing development. Their important work is integral to their institution’s viability. ADAPE Australasia provides support and professional development services to assist these professionals achieve and model best practice. We are a not for profit association and the only Australasian based organisation that serves the specific needs of the education sector with regards to fundraising, philanthropy and engagement. Our aim is to support educational institutions and the various professionals who work for their advancement through education and learning, advocacy within the sector and with the wider public; and through the recognition and promotion of best practice. Our focus extends across schools, universities, colleges and other educational institutions. Drawn from Australia, New Zealand and south-east Asia, ADAPE members are involved in every aspect of educational advancement: from fundraising to alumni relations, admissions and marketing to business management and leadership; and are engaged in the full spectrum of educational institutions.
